The second annual Rutgers University Musicological Society Graduate Student Conference will take place on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. The keynote will be presented by Dr. Stephanie Jensen-Moulton of Brooklyn College. 

We welcome abstracts of 250-350 words from current graduate students in any area of music research including, but not limited to, musicology, music theory, and ethnomusicology. Paper presentations will be 20 minutes in length, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. 

All submissions must be received by Sunday, January 10, 2016. Please include your abstract in the body of an email along with your name, address, telephone number, and institutional affiliation. For the subject heading, please write ?RUMS Conference Submission.? Attach to your email a document (.doc, .docx, or .pdf) containing your abstract without your name, institutional affiliation, or any other personal identifiers. Name your attachment with the title only.

Notification of acceptance will be given by Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
