Full-time, continuing remuneration package: $77K - $131K p.a. (which includes a salary, leave loading and up to 17% superannuation)

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music (SCM) is one of the oldest and most prestigious music schools in Australia and the South-East Asian region. The SCM is seeking to employ an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Guitar.

In this role you will:

teach one-to-one guitar and in an ensemble context

make an important contribution to the research strengths of the school, including regular publications and performances
develop effective interdisciplinary collaborations within the University, across academic fields and with external stakeholders
engage with industry professionals and interested public

actively contribute to faculty activities and academic administration
work cooperatively within a team.

As part of a complex team, you will have had experience in collegial negotiations and have the capacity to manage workload in a high pressure environment. You will be an enthusiastic teacher who knows how to help students reach their potential. There is one full-time continuing position, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation and/or confirmation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for new appointees.

Remuneration package: $77,561 - $131,575 p.a. (which includes a base salary of $65,540 - $111,182 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer?s contribution to superannuation).
